Mitsubishi shows off its 92-inch 3D DLP HDTV at CES 2011
Mitsubishi has shown-off its big screen 3D HDTV at the International Consumer Electronics Show CES 2011 in Las Vegas. The Mitsubishi WD-92840 is a 92-inch 3D HDTV. The 92-inch 3D HDTV from Mitsubishi is neither LCD or Plasma but a rear-projection DLP HDTV. According to Mitsubishi, rear projection DLP offers a better 3D cinematic experience in the home<br /><br /><br /><br />DLP HDTVs are cheaper than LCD and Plasma HDTVs offering more inches per dollar. Hence DLP HDTVs are more affordable. The Mitsubishi 92-inch Home Cinema 3D HDTV will go for a little below $6,000.<br /><br />Some of the features of the Mitsubishi 92-inch Home Cinema 3D HDTV built-in 3D emitter, StreamTV Internet Media, Multi-speaker Immersive Sound Technology (IST), Bluetooth Streaming Audio, 4 HDMI input,USB Media player, Universal Remote Control, 120Hz Sub-Frame Rate, Jade User Interface and New Clear Contrast Screen.<br /><br />Mitsubishi has also shown off its 155-inch OLED display, which is targeted at businesses with applications in digital signage like store displays and billboards.
