UniJos Post UTME 2011: University of Jos post Jamb Screening test
University of Jos, UNIJOS has announced commencement of post UTME registration for candidate desirous of gaining admissions into the university for the 2011/2012 academic year. UNIJOS post UTME registration closes on August 12, 2011 and candidates who made UNIJOS their first and/or second choice and scored at least 180 in JAMB UTME 2011 are qualified to apply. UNIJOS post UTME screening starts August 15, 2011. Each candidate will be given a particular day in which to show for post UTME screening on registration.<br /><br />Follow Post UTME 2012 updates.<br /> <br />Here is the UniJos Post UTME announcement:<br /><br />The University of Jos hereby invites candidates to participate in the computer based Post- UTME exercise for the 2011/2012 Session. Each candidate shall, on registration, be scheduled for the examination as from 15th August 2011.<br /><br />The University website www.unijos.edu.ng will be opened from Monday, 1st August through 12 noon, Friday, 12th August 2011, for the online registration of candidates who have chosen the University as their 1st or 2nd choice.<br /><br />A. Eligibility<br />UTME<br />All candidates who made the University of Jos their first or second choice and scored 180 marks or above in the UTME for all courses.<br />B. Venue:<br /> Multipurpose Auditorium, Bauchi Road Campus, University of Jos, Jos.<br /> <br />C. General Instructions:<br />(i) Candidates are strongly advised not to come to the test centre with any electronic device such as GSM Phones, Ipods etc, as these items will be seized<br />(ii) Parents, Guardians and other unauthorised persons are not allowed within the testing venues during the POST-UTME Screening exercise<br />(iii) Every candidate will be required to provide one personal e-mail address and cell phone number for correspondence<br />(iv) Candidates are expected to be at the screening centre, one hour before the scheduled time allocated to them<br />(v) Any candidate who fails to come for the screening exercise will automatically forfeit the chance of being considered for admission.<br />(vi) Withholding information or provision of wrong information will lead to instant disqualification<br />(vii) The University of Jos does not condone any form of examination malpractice. Offenders shall be handed over to the law enforcement agents for prosecution in addition to being disqualified.<br />D. Specific Instructions For screening:<br />(i) University of Jos charges one thousand Naira (N1, 000.00) onlyfor the screening exercise and another one thousand five hundred Naira (N1,500.00)forbiometric registration and for accessing the results.<br />Procure the PIN CODE from any of the following banks:<br />FIRST BANK PLC, ACCESS BANK PLC, AFRIBANK PLC, BANK PHB, ECOBANK PLC, FIDELITY BANK PLC, FIRSTCITY MONUMENT BANK PLC, FINBANK PLC, GUARANTY TRUST BANK PLC, DIAMOND BANK PLC, INTERCONTINENTAL BANK PLC, OCEANIC BANK PLC, SKYE BANK PLC, SPRING BANK PLC, STANBIC IBTC BANK PLC, STERLING BANK PLC, UNION BANK PLC, UNITED BANK FOR AFRICA PLC, WEMA BANK PLC AND ZENITH BANK PLC.<br />(ii) Thereafter, a receipt number and a confirmation order number will be issued for online registration.<br />(iii) log on to www.unijos.edu.ng to read the details about registration procedures for the post-UTME screening exercise.<br />(iv) Registration for the post-UTME screening is only concluded by the scheduling of the venue, date and time of the screening test.<br />(v) Candidates should print out the schedule slip which must be brought along for the screening exercise .<br />(vi) Candidates are to come with copies of their JAMB result slip, HB pencils and erasers.<br />(vii) ALL ENQURIES SHOULD BE SENT TO admissions@unijos.edu.ng<br /> <br /> <br />Signed<br />Registrar<br />University of Jos<br /><br /><br />Source: Unijos Website
