Juju Maestro Ebenezer Obey Gets Versity Job
Ebenezer Obey (born 3 April 1942),
nicknamed the “Chief Commander” was honoured by dignitaries at Olabisi
Onabanjo University as a Professor in music.
It was a great moment for Juju maestro, Chief Commander Ebenezer
Remilekun Aremu Olasupo Obey-Fabiyi when Olabisi Onabanjo University,
Ago Iwoye formally honoured him today, 7th July 2014, as a Visiting
Artiste in the Department of English &Performing Arts. The
presentation held at the Otunba Gbenga Daniel Hall, Main Campus of the
university.
The presentation was done by Professor Saburi Adejin Adesanya after a
thorough research by the institution’s council. As a Professor of
Music, the Idogo, Egba–born Juju maestro is expected to lecture students
on music.
