Although a lot of Nigerians are still buying the older BlackBerry Bold models like the Bold 9870, Bold 9700, and Bold 9000, RIM has since released new BlackBerry Bold phones with newer software and more powerful hardware. The latest BlackBerry Bold phones from RIM are the BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900/9930 and the BlackBerry Bold Touch 9790.<br /><br />Unlike older BlackBerry Bold phones, these latest models feature touchscreen in addition to the standard 35-key BlackBerry keyboard. They also feature the new BlackBerry 7 OS and the latest BBM, BlackBerry Messenger 6. Both Bold phones feature a 5MP camera with flash and 720p HD video recording.<br /><br />However, BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900/9930 is the top model with a 2.8-inch touchscreen and a more powerful processor (1.2GHz). BlackBerry Bold Touch 9790 is the cheaper model targeted at folks who finds the price of the Bold Touch 9900/9930 too expensive.
