FUTA Post UTME 2011: Federal University Of Technology, Akure Post Jamb Screening

FUTA post UTME/DE registration has started and will close on August 2, 2011. JAMB UTME cutoff mark: 200. Total cost for FUTA post UTME is around N2,000. FUTA post UTME screening will take place from August 17 to August 19, 2011.<br /><br />Follow Post UTME 2012 updates.<br /><br />Here is the press release:<br /><br />All candidates who made the Federal University of Technology, Akure their first or/and second choice and obtained a minimum score of 200 in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) in June, 2011 are invited for computer-based screening exercise in the University from Wednesday, 17th August to Friday, 19th August, 2011. <br /><br />Similarly, candidates who made FUTA their First and Second choice for the Direct Entry Admission for the 2011/2012 academic session are invited for a computer-based Pre-Admission screening exercise on Saturday, 20th August, 2011.<br /><br />The computer-based screening exercise will hold as scheduled below:<br /><br />Day/Date <br />School<br /> Departments<br />Day 1 Wednesday,<br />17th August, 2011<br />School of Engineering and Engineering Technology<br />Agric Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical /Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering and Mining Engineering<br />Day 2 Thursday,<br />18th August, 2011<br />School of Sciences<br />Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science Micro-Biology, Statistics, Mathematics and Physics<br />Day 3 Friday,<br />19th August, 2011<br />Schools of Agric & Agric<br />Tech, Earth and Mineral Sciences,<br />Environmental Tech and Management<br />Technology<br />SAAT<br />Agric. Economics & Extension, Animal Production and Health, Crop, Soil & Pest Mgt.,<br />Ecotourism and Wildlife Management, Fisheries and Aquaculture Technology, Food Science Technology, Forestry and<br />Wood Technology.<br />SEMS<br />Applied Geology, Applied Geophysics, Meteorology.<br />SET<br />Architecture, Estate Management, Industrial Design, Quantity Surveying, Urban and Regional Planning.<br />SMAT<br />Project Management Technology, Transport Management Technology.<br />Day 4 Saturday,<br />20th August, 2011<br />Direct Entry All Departments<br />Candidates are to come strictly according to the screening schedule slip obtained automatically from the University website after their registration.<br />Registration Procedure<br />Each candidate is to make a payment of N1,000 (exclusive of e-transact transaction fee) for the registration and electronic screening processes and N1,000 for processing<br />and checking of results.<br />Candidates can make payments to any bank, provided that such a bank is on etranzact platform. Please note that the CANDIDATE’S UTME/DE REGISTRATION<br />NUMBER and the full names should be correctly provided at the point of payment.<br />After the payment, each candidate should visit the University website (https://www.futa.edu.ng/utme_verification) and complete an online registration form. The<br />completed form which will indicate the exact date and time for the screening exercise should be printed for the candidate’s use. The registration exercise which will<br />commence on Monday, 1st August, 2011, will close at 12.00 midnight on Friday, 12th August, 2011.<br />1. All candidates are requested to bring along the following items to the screening venue:<br />(i) Print out of e-transact receipt (collected from the bank)<br />(ii) Completed Registration Form (downloaded from the FUTA website)<br />(iii) JAMB UTME Notification of Results/JAMB slips for Direct Entry candidates.<br />(iv) A copy of the screening schedule slip obtained automatically after the online registration<br />2. The Venue of the Screening exercise is the Electronic Test Centre, (ETC) “Obakekere Campus” Federal University of Technology, Akure.<br />3. Candidates are NOT allowed to bring cell phones or other electronic gadgets to the Screening Venue.<br />4. Any UTME/DE candidate who fails to present himself/herself for the computer-based screening exercise will NOT be considered for admission.<br />5.
