Will my Laptop PC work with Windows 8

edited October 2012 in Operating Systems
This is probably a question that some Laptop PC users could be asking now. It is probably the second question in line after asking should I upgrade to Windows 8? Well in terms of power requirement, Windows 8 is not much different to Windows 7.

So, if you are already running Windows 7 chances are that your machine is good to go with Windows 8. The same may not be the case if you are running older Windows OS.

However, the best way to be sure of your laptop's compatibility with Windows 8 is to download and run the Windows 8 Upgrade assistant. This tool will scan your laptop and present you with a report of the level of compatibility of your laptop.

So, download the Windows 8 upgrade assistant from the Microsoft Windows website and run it on your machine.
You can find instructions on downloading the Windows 8 upgrade assistant and upgrading to Windows 8 at the link below:

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-8/upgrade-to-windows-8
The Truth is Out There.

 • Windows 8 is one of the best OS from Microsoft but it lacks the hardware comparability support for old systems. There are 4 versions of windows 8 available in the market 3 for PC and laptop and 1 for tablet devices. Tablet version dose not able to run the all apps which run on laptop version.
